The majority of our tests use a simple saliva collection or small finger blood prick (less than 5 minutes to sample). Once you complete the sampling process from the comfort of your own home, use the complimentary return shipping provided to mail the sample to our lab. These tests are analyzed in our licensed medical genetics laboratory that carries ISO 9001, 15189, and 22000 certifications. The results from these tests guide the unique health reports provided within your profile. Some reports include ancestry, diet, micronutrient, skin, exercise, and various blood levels.

Each test has a slightly different timeline but the majority of our test results are available within 3-5 weeks based on the quality of your samples. If you've already taken a test from another genetic testing provider (23andMe, AncestryDNA, and MyHeritage), you can skip the wait by easily uploading your data and receive digital reports within 48 hours.

Most orders get delivered within 3-5 business days unless you upgrade to premium shipping options.

Each order comes with pre-paid return shipping to our labs for diagnostic testing.

Orders over $100 ship for with free standard shipping. Due to the pre-paid return shipping there is a small shipping fee of $4.99 on orders under $100.

All sales are final and orders may not not be canceled once placed. Once an order has been placed (including subscriptions), we are unable to cancel or refund the order.

Once you have successfully registered your test with us and shipped your sample to the lab, it'll take a few weeks to process results. You will receive email notifications when they are available for secure digital viewing within your Vitagene account.
